Tickets purchased more than a week in advance can be received via
mail or at will call at patron's request. Tickets ordered within
one week of a concert date are automatically scheduled for pick up
at will call ticketing on the lower level of the Meyerson Symphony
Center on the night of performance or prior to the performance at
the Box Office.
The concert begins when the concertmaster takes the
stage. Late arriving patrons will be escorted into the hall by an
usher during an appropriate pause in the program or at intermission
to the most accessible seat. The seat may be in a different section
of the hall from the ticketed seat. The appropriate pauses in the
program are determined by the conductor and the guest artist(s),
and they will vary from program to program. At intermission, the
original ticketed seat may be claimed.
Standby seating is based on tickets that have been purchased, but
will not be used. Standby seating ticket holders are staged on the
Lower Level of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center along the
East Wall at the bottom of the grand staircase. Prior to the start
of the concert standby seating ticket holders will be escorted by a
Dallas Symphony representative to await seating (typically on
Orchestra Floor level). Ushers escort standby seating patrons to
available seats shortly before the beginning of the concert.
Standby patrons are usually seated on the Orchestra Floor and may
be seated in any area with the exclusion of Loge Box seats.
For Dallas Symphony Presents concerts, standby patrons will be
escorted upstairs at the beginning of the concert and are escorted
by ushers to quickly take the most accessible seats once the first
song or movement is complete.
Subscribers and single ticket purchasers with designated seats
may claim their seats at any time. If the standby patron's seat is
claimed by the assigned ticket holder, the standby patron must
relocate to another seat.
In the event that no seats are available for standby patrons, a
full refund will be given at the Guest Services Center on the lower
level of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
