Prokofiev's delightful fairy tale brought vivdly to life by narrator Quincy Roberts and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. A perfect introduction to the orchestra, your students will delight as the musical instruments illustrate the personality of each character, from the adventurous Peter's sprightly strings, to Grandfather's bassoon, and of course the sly Wolf's French horns!

This multi-disciplinary concert explores the interconnectivity of different artistic disciplines. In collaboration with Dallas Black Dance Theatre and the Dallas Museum of Art, we delve into the artistic process used to create a piece of art. Students willl also have the opportunity to display their original music-inspired artwork in the Meyerson lobby.

Carnegie Hall's The Orchestra RocksMay 2 + 3 I 10:00 + 11:30AM I 2018
Carnegie Hall's innovative Link Up curriculum delivers an exhilerating, interactive concert experience. Your students will learn how composers and musicians use rhythm to propel musical works. Includes hands-on activities and an opportunity to play along with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on recorders or strings. Teaching artists are available to help prepare students for the play-along portions of the concert.
