Youth Concerts

Over 30,000 students and teachers from the Dallas/Fort Worth area attend the DSO's Youth Concerts each year! The Youth Concert series presents three different programs each year for students in grades PreK-6.

With Dallas Black Dance Theatre and the Dallas Museum of Art

This multi-disciplinary concert explores the interconnectivity of different artistic disciplines. In collaboration with Dallas Black Dance Theatre and the Dallas Museum of Art, we delve into the artistic process used to create a piece of art. Students will also have the opportunity to display their original music-inspired artwork in the Meyerson lobby. For information about how to submit artwork, click here!

Carnegie Hall's The Orchestra Rocks

Carnegie Hall's innovative Link Up curriculum delivers an exhilarating, interactive concert experience. Your students will learn how composers and musicians use rhythm to propel musical works. Includes hands-on activities and an opportunity to play along with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on recorders or strings. Free Teacher Training will take place at the Meyerson Symphony Center on January 8 at 9:30am (Dallas ISD Professional Development credit offered), with a make-up session on January 27.  Call 214-871-4006 to reserve your spot!
