Youth Concerts

Based on recommendations issued by Dallas County to keep the community safe and healthy and to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will be offering virtual Youth Concerts for 2020-21.

Over 30,000 students and teachers from the Dallas/Fort Worth area attend the Dallas Symphony Youth Concerts each year! The Youth Concert series presents three different programs each year for students in grades PreK-6.

We hope to share our love of the Dallas Symphony with our friends around the world with our virtual offerings this season!

2020/21 Series

The Art of the Concerto

Have you ever wondered what instruments are saying to each other when they play? Join us for "The Art of the Concerto" to see, hear, and experience the conversation between our soloists and the orchestra. Because music is a conversation… and YOU get to make up the dialogue! This fun program designed for remote viewing includes music by Corelli, Bach, Haydn, Lalo, Ligeti, and Higdon.

Link to watch the concert will be sent to you on November 29th which grants access to watch with your students from Nov. 30 - Dec. 18, 2020.
