The DSO’s adult education programs foster a passionate community of music lovers. Informal talks and lunches help you gain a deeper understanding of the music and the mission of the Dallas Symphony.

PERFORMANCE PRELUDES (Canceled for 2020-21 Season)
Laugh and learn with the most knowledgeable music experts in North Texas (as well as an occasional surprise visitor) before every classical concert.  Presenters share stories and provide insight about the music being performed.  Sponsored in part by the DSO Guild, the Preludes are free for all concert patrons.

Bach's Lunch is a series of free, informal talks, led by local musicians and musicologists, for people interested in learning more about the fascinating world of classical music.

Fall 2020 Bach's Lunches will be hosted remotely on Zoom on Wednesday, October 28th with speaker Kimberly Harris and Wednesday, December 9th with David Bard-Schwarz ("Beethoven and Goosebumps: A New Look at the First Movement of his Symphony No. 5").
